8:55-9:45 a.m.   How do Banks Keep Pace with Rapidly Emerging Technologies? Keith Hauser & David Der | SingleStone LLC

Technology is no longer just an internal capability that involves keeping things running; it is now a competitive requirement that, with data analysis and governance, can directly impact performance and the future success of all banks. During this session, leaders from SingleStone will lead a conversation on what it means to operate in an AI future and what banks need to do to get their data ready.

10:00-10:50 a.m.   Credit Risk: Where We Are and Where We’re Headed David Ruffin | IntelliCredit®

With heightened regulatory scrutiny, particularly over CRE exposures, and emerging quantifiable credit stress, now is the time to reassess your risk management strategy. According to the Risk Management Association (RMA) Annual Community Bank Survey, 52% of community bankers indicated that credit risk was a top concern. In this session, we will discuss where the hotspots and high-risk areas are right now and where they are likely headed in the next few quarters. We’ll also review strategies community banks should be employing to better understand their risk profiles and prepare to write (and defend their) own credit quality scripts for regulators.

Global events and global economics are having a greater impact on markets and the life of Americans like never before. And in the midst of all this, the US is about to hold historic elections. Frank brings it all together, hoping to offer guidance of what to expect in the coming year, pointing out the risks and opportunities.
