2024 Internal Audit Seminar
This event is designed for internal auditors, compliance officers, senior management and any officer in the bank responsible for deposit operations, electronic funds, branch operations, or FDICIA/SOx. Sessions will focus on emerging risks, current trends, and hot topics impacting the financial services industry. The seminar will be highly informative and provide attendees with strategies, solutions, and resources that can be practically applied to their own institutions.
Virtual Compliance School (Hosted by: Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia Bankers Associations)
Lending & Deposit Tracks Available!
Virtual Compliance School consists of two tracks, Lending and Deposits, and is designed for entry-mid level compliance personnel.
In 2025, the MBA, NCBA and VBA will join together to host the virtual school with a three day Lending track and a one day Deposits track.

FSU Masters Program for Compliance Professionals
Compliance is an ever changing and evolving part of our industry and bankers must be prepared. The VBA is very pleased to partner with the Florida Bankers Association (FBA) and Florida State University College of Law to offer VBA members an important degree program for our banking professionals. When you enroll in this on-line program to obtain a Juris Master degree in Financial Regulation & Compliance from Florida State University, College of Law, you will enhance your own professional development, the reputation of your financial institution and that of the banking industry.
